Love, Poetry

Letting go

When her soul folds gray

voice turned hoarse

lips cracked layers beneath

streaks of white enfolding

not only on braids but on her skin;

that lingering shimmering love

sentimental feeling loftily remains

subtly lodging on

the back of her pith

the threads of her lucidity;

never once

was letting go her decision to make.

Dreams, Poetry

One-way Stream

A place I long to seek

or it is just solace that I need;

A crusade between

dreams and reality

Oh, tell me how should I go about with it;

To trail along with reality

or stamp my feet through that unbeaten path

of darkness and forestry

or truth be told to none I know of what lies within;

One thing be sure it will be crazy, thrilling and nothing short of a reverie

a clear choice

as they snap and preach;

Yet there is never an easy one

when it comes to choices

of a one-way stream.

Half A Universe

(For V and W)

Faltering shackles

fragmented timepiece of

a second, neverending;

every word you whisper sent

a scorching pelt –

an immense indescribable twinge

for only now I knew how pain can prevail;

“Kill me, and save half a universe of souls”

the shackles shattered

as did my will;

maybe I could lose half a universe for you

nay the other way through;

my grasp froze, mind halted,

you knew,

for your ever dimpled comforting grin unveiled;

as we splinter in the next

our love soar to a worthiness

of a universe great;

half a universe me

and half a universe you.

Love, Poetry

Far away

The warm and moist

soft paced breathing

plunges on her cheeks

as she encased her lids

with his presence by

set upon her entirety

as if this was the reward of 28 years of hardship

nothing could ever come close

to this felicity

to this immense blessing;

Widening her eyes

as clarity trails with reality

the blank sight emerges

she then knew

how far away he was

from where he was supposed to be.

Love, Poetry

What did your pair of brown round eyes caught

when they lay upon mine;

was it

that cushy familiar sense

that sooth your soul

the subtle tinglings

along your skin

or the eager palpitating of your heartbeat

alongside the bellowing anguish

from our welded hearts

for an aperture stood amid we;

or was it none

perchance you saw a mere past

you have left behind;

I can only wonder

through my grievous days and nights

of what you saw

in me that night.
